Orinko Advanced Plastics Co., Ltd.(“Orinko”), a leading Chinese manufacturer of high-performance polymer materials, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Omikron S.r.l.(“Omikron”), an Italian specialty compounder serving the European automotive and industrial sectors. The transaction marks a significant milestone in Orinko’s international expansion strategy and reinforces its commitment to delivering advanced material solutions across global markets.

Founded in Turin, Omikron has built a reputation for engineering excellence and innovation in thermoplastic compounds, catering to Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs across Europe. The acquisition will enable Orinko to integrate Omikron’s manufacturing capabilities and customer relationships into its global platform, enhancing its product portfolio and accelerating its penetration into the European market.
